Think this is just another ab workout? Think again! Join Duncan Salek, Personal Trainer & Group Fitness Instructor, and learn the principles of movement, and basics about the region of our body we lovingly call "the Core". 

If you're not sure what "strengthening your core" actually means, if you're dealing with daily chronic pain due to your posture or sitting all day, or if you're looking to get stronger in your workout regimen or sport, definitely join our workshop! Duncan will deliver an incredible 45-minute core workout, but it will go far beyond that: He will introduce you to the muscles that power the movement of your core, and ultimately, your body, then teach you how to activate those muscles with a series of exercises you can do anywhere!. It is a time of discovery in exercise you will not want to miss! 

Duncan Salek has worked in health, fitness & recreation settings for the last six years. After spending a year as a media planner, he left to pursue personal training, landing jobs at The Peninsula Chicago and as a residential trainer in some of Chicago's finest high-rise apartments. He currently works in Corporate Fitness as a full-time Health Fitness Professional. He holds certifications as a Personal Trainer (NSCA) and a Group Fitness Instructor (ACE). He specializes in strength training and total body conditioning, bringing desk workers and business-travelers effective and efficient workout programs.
